Job Description ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:

Provide outstanding customer service to guests and all other employees by exceeding our mission statement.
Must be able to operate a 10-key calculator.
Maintain security and accountability to company funds located in the cage during a shift.
Assist employees with monetary transactions.
Receive Slot Machine currency drop.
Receive Table Games chip and currency drop.
Verify/replenish currency for ATR cassettes Receive miscellaneous casino revenues.
Receive revenue and issues guaranteed prize amount for poker tournaments.
Prepare daily bank deposit.
Replenish all cage windows to the imprest amount.
Receive all slot tickets cashed during the shift.
Receive all checks cashed during the shift.
All required documents must be filled out completely with legible print.
Communicate with all departments as needed using professionalism.
Solely responsible and accountable for main bank inventory during their shift.
Must process all transactions accurately and maintain variances to an absolute minimum.
Ensure compliance with all Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS) as well as all Tribal Internal Control Standards (TICS).
Present a positive image of the Tribal organization to its guests and vendors and to assist them as required.
Must follow all safety policies and procedures and attend all scheduled safety meetings and training as a condition of employment.
Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
SUPERVISORY
Responsibilities:
This job does not require supervisory duties.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (MUST BE DOCUMENTED):
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Six months banking, cashiering and/or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATION, LICENSES AND ANY ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must pass periodic random drug screens.
Must be able to pass background suitability investigation.
Must obtain a Tribal Gaming License.
Must obtain all other applicable certifications and licenses.
Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States within 72 hours of employment.

Surveillance cameras and audio equipment monitor the premises recording activity throughout most of the facilities on 24 hours per day, 7 days per week basis.

Tribal History Information The origins of the 29 Palms Band of Mission Indians can be traced back to the Chemeheuvi, a peaceful and nomadic tribe whose territory once covered large expanses of Utah, Arizona and Southern Nevada.
In 1867, a group of Chemeheuvi migrated west to the Oasis of modern day Twentynine Palms.
The Twenty-Nine Palms Band of Mission Indians are their descendants.
As children of the Wolf, the Band has always drawn upon his strength and intelligence, as well as the wit and survival skills of the coyote, to endure and sustain themselves.
Today the Band's reservation lands are located near the town of Twentynine Palms, at the intersection of 1-10 and Highway 86, and includes sites of the Spotlight 29 Casino and Tortoise Rock Casino whose proceeds help provide housing, education, and financial security for future generations.
